A panel of expert angel and venture capital investors took an insightful look at technology investing, the current market and what the future investment environment holds, during a panel discussion at the Haas School of Business (Berkeley) in September. The discussion included a review of the key metrics for venture capital investments/exits. Click on the link here

By focusing on Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) and New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) grants, High Tech Rochester has become proficient at helping local companies successfully apply for and receive grant funding – to the tune of $9 million over the last two years. As part of its tech commercialization program, HTR continues to lead a collaborative effort with the University of Rochester, Rochester Institute of Technology, The Cornell Tech Farm and the Infotonics Technology Center.
NASVF member High Tech Rochester is a non-profit economic development organization driving growth in the Rochester/Finger Lakes region through the Creation, Mentoring, and Incubation of high-tech startup businesses, and through advanced consulting services provided to small manufacturing firms through its NYSTAR-funded Regional Technology Development Center.
